COUNSELLING
HOPE. MEANING. WHOLENESS.
OUR HEART
At CityHill Church, our heart is to see God bring redemption and restoration in the lives of the community we serve.
We offer safe and confidential lay Christian counselling to anyone in need, both within the church as well as in the broader community.
OUR TEAM
Our lay Christian counsellors are volunteers trained in Christian counselling [they are not psychologists]. For this reason, they cannot counsel within the scope of any mental health diagnoses/addictions/major depression/legal issues.
Our counsellors work within their skills to assist you to work through any life issues you may be facing. If they feel you need further assistance, they will recommend a referral.
HOW WE WORK
We are a donation-based service to the community [where people can afford]. Due to the demand for counselling, we might at times have a waiting list.
IN CRISIS?
If you are in a crisis or if you or any other person may be in danger, please do not use this page – rather click on this link for Emergency Numbers. These emergency numbers can assist you in finding immediate support.

SUPPORT GROUPS
CityHill Recovery Group
Being part of a recovery community is an essential part of the recovery process for those battling with addictions as well as their family, friends and supporters. If you or someone you love is facing challenges related to substance dependence, pornography addiction or related compulsive behavioural disorders, we invite you to join our addiction recovery group where you’ll find a space of support, encouragement, empowerment, and hope.
Join us every Monday: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
GriefShare
GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
DivorceCare
DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them on the path of recovery after separation or divorce by offering helpful counsel to manage emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.
